Discounts
- 10% discount for one additional sibling, on both Pre-K and before & after care.

What the fee covers
- A nutritious afternoon snack is part of the fee schedule.
- Parents provide their child with a lunch each day of attendance.
- Afternoon care includes homework time and structured activities like recreation and games, with a snack provided.
Billing & contract terms
- Fees are based on your contract schedule, not on attendance.
- School calendar breaks (if we are not open) and major public holidays are not billed.
- Fees are billed every Monday and due that evening, for the week ahead. A $10.00 late charge applies Wednesday morning.
- Late pick-up is $1.00 per minute, billed the next cycle.
- Emergency drop-off for before & after care is $15.00, due at pick-up, and must be cleared by the front office so we know we have space.
- Extra days beyond your contract are billed as drop-ins. Filing a new contract avoids the drop-in rate.
- A signed contract and current registration documents must be on file before your child attends.
Barr Family Early Learners Scholarship
Covers up to 50% of preschool costs.
The fund was established in 2023 by the Barr family, founders of AmeriSchools Academy and Capstone Quest Academy. They saw working families in Tucson and Yuma whose income was above the DES limit but who still could not afford quality early learning and work at the same time. Awards are based on need and reviewed every year.
Who it is for
- Families with a child aged 3 to 5 who need early learning care.
- Families who applied to DES and did not qualify, or were denied.
- Not for families already receiving DES. If your DES application is still in progress, the application form tells you who to contact.
How to apply
- Download and complete the application.
- Attach your two most recent proofs of income — pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, benefit statements or similar. Applications without proof of income are delayed.
- Return it to your site.
Applications are reviewed on family need and income, first come first served, and decided within 10 days of a complete application with financial documents. Awards depend on income verification and on funding being available, and run to June 30, 2027 while your account stays current. Tell us if your income changes or you become eligible for DES.
